The events are free and open to the public. Senior citizens can ask questions and obtain information from a variety of service and health care providers, state programs and local groups. They also can take advantage of discounted health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose and pulmonary testing.

  • Discounted health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose and pulmonary testing
  • Updated information for seniors from the Illinois Secretary of State and the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Information about community services and programs from the East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging
  • Additional representatives available from the Citizens Utility Board, Dove Inc., Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur Township, Macon County Health Department and St. Mary’s Hospital

 

Sept. 21

  • Health screenings from area hospitals and the Macoupin County Public Health Department
  • Renew, update or replace driver’s licenses at the Illinois Secretary of State’s mobile DMV unit
  • Updated information for veterans from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Information about community services and programs from the Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland
  • Additional representatives available from AARP, Carlinville Area Hospital, Community Memorial Hospital, the Illinois Treasurer’s Office, Macoupin County Public Transit, Macoupin County Veteran’s Assistance Commission, St. Francis Hospital
